I am a mixed media artist specialising in abstraction. I work with many different materials - textiles, paper, collage and also acrylic and oil on canvas but nothing about my work is traditional.
I first started learning watercolours over 30 years ago and through the years have realised that I work best with a whole array of media. Experimenting and seeing where the work goes is an element I enjoy.

My paintings in virtual settings
Anantya which means Energy in Sanskrit is a 26 x 26 inch painting of acrylic with texture. It is not framed but is on a gallery- wrapped canvas with the sides painted in the same design.
Many of my works come from within a quiet space of meditation. This one is a mixed media on canvas of 24 x 24 inches and titled Fibres of My Being.
Using memorabilia or found objects also known in the art scene as objets trouves, I create art with texture that sits above the surface. This one is titled My Mother's Earrings as it incorporates these and other artefacts into it. 16 x 16 inches.
